Things have been busy here lately. We have been sprucing things up after a LONG winter. Richard is helping me with my many projects- things like fixing goat fences, re-doing the chicken wire on the coop, pitching manure out of the goat pens, and rototilling the garden. I am blessed to have such a great husband who is willing to help me out with my craziness!
Spring also means garage saling season. I am enjoying every moment of that. 😉 I get 90% of my children’s clothes from them! I also found this fun box of craft/sewing supplies for $.25. Yep, one quarter. I am a sucker for anything that is thrown in a box. I love to sort and dig around in it for treasures!
I am hoping to get some pictures up of our goat kids soon. We will also be getting some chicks and turkeys soon. I am a bit nervous about the turkeys since they are notoriously hard to raise. Someone said they look for ways to die. I am hoping they will work out for us. Homegrown turkey for Thanksgiving sounds so tempting!
